Parade of Yêu Yêu Yêu
Channel 4 is a legendary British public broadcasting station that is a place where you can be showered with radical, nonsensical, dark and humorous ideas. Influenced by the station's proactive approach to experimental programming, this project was created by a group of travelers who are introducing the culture, art, lifestyle and values rooted in each country through miscellaneous goods and products.
ANTE Vojnovic div. has become the official distributor of "Parade des Yêu Yêu Yêu", a company based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam that collects Soundmachines that are widely distributed in Southeast Asia and contain mainly Buddhist songs and lines from plays. We have the largest selection of Vietnamese Buddha Machines distributed in Vietnam.

A Sound Machine That Lives in Your Life
In Vietnam, you can find Buddhaachine and other objects and amulets everywhere, such as in taxis, shops, and alleys called Hẻm. It is only in Vietnam that Buddhaachine is so widely integrated into everyday life. (Our store director's first encounter with Buddhaachine was when he thought it was a Vietnamese mood song playing from a taxi Maria machine, but it was actually a hymn.)
Although the variety and selection is not as good as the Chinese version, the Vietnamese version is characterized by its deep, subdued tone and warm, vibrato-heavy songs. You can enjoy a variety of songs, including the classic Nam mô A Di Đà Phật 〜🎵, a song that will make your brain tremble with the fast-paced mokugyo, a song that will soothe you with the tingsha sound, and a majestic loop of bells. We also recommend this Buddha Machine to those who are familiar with the Chinese version, as a second or third Buddha Machine. We hope you will enjoy the differences and the songs as frontier music from various regions. (However, most of them are manufactured in China or Taiwan.)
Brian Eno and David Byrne are also fans of this machine, and it has been featured in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. In Japan, Cornelius released a collaboration song with Ghost in the Shell ARISE, which became a hot topic. The Buddha Machine is a modern version of the Buddha Machine that has become world famous, with a special package being created as the first collaboration work in Japan, "GHOST IN THE MACHINE," which includes a total of three songs, including the opening theme and two background music tracks from the movie. The Buddha Machine is a compact drone player developed by the Beijing electronic music group FM3, but the original song machine that influenced them, the 唱佛機, is a sound machine rich in local color that contains Buddhist songs from various parts of Asia, and is rooted in local culture. In recent years, with the rise of online distribution, this dream machine filled with a small universe is actually disappearing. The unique analog feel that you can't get on an iPhone overflows from the compact built-in speaker and heals your heart. Its convenient compact size means you can take it with you anytime, anywhere. This time, we have collected mainly Vietnamese versions. Buddhist songs are also in the era of subscriptions. I'm sure you won't be able to find them in the near future. Now is your chance to get your hands on one. |

In Vietnam, there is a custom of celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, called Tết Trung thu, on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar.
In Vietnam, which has a rice-growing culture, the moon has been worshipped as a god since ancient times, so this day was originally considered a day to admire the moon. After making offerings to the moon, people would hold banquets around the village eating food made from crops harvested under the light of the full moon, children would play by making fish and butterflies out of paper, and at night they would walk around the village with lanterns and drums.
Nowadays, the way in which it is celebrated as Children's Day has changed.
During the Mid-Autumn Festival, numerous colorful toy lanterns are hung all over the city, and visitors can't help but get excited by the unique excitement of the season.
Lanterns and toys can be found in places other than interior design shops and toy stores.
An old man on a bicycle selling music at a high volume. It's like the Parade of Yêu Yêu Yêu!!
Every evening, Grandpa starts lining up his toys in a corner of the main street.
Even now that he's over 80 years old, he says, "I get bored at home, so I'll definitely come as long as I can still move around."
He works hard for his grandmother who has a bad leg. (Before his grandpa Chi's leg got worse, he used to walk around the main street carrying a basket and selling toys.)
I loved the smile on her face when she happily said, "I'm going to have dinner with my daughter's family!" on the day I bought a few extra.
Asian home decor & lifestyle
Did you know that Vietnam is a multi-ethnic country made up of 54 tribes?
The Kinh (Viet people), who make up over 85%, are the largest ethnic group. The remaining 53 ethnic tribes live in undeveloped areas, such as mountainous and riverine regions near the borders of China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, and other countries, away from cities, preserving their unique lifestyles and social structures. They have a supernatural way of thinking and aesthetic sense, and live while inheriting their own culture. However, many of them have no say and no access to social services due to poverty and other reasons such as not being able to understand the common language. We will introduce the traditional culture that they weave through our products.
On the other hand, even in urban areas, there are crafts and products that are disappearing due to various factors.
One of them is Sông Bé, famous in the south. There are many kilns that are disappearing, but we visit the remaining kilns and ask them to give us their dead stock little by little. (*The photos include antiques and reproductions.)
In addition, we will introduce interior goods, apparel, and kitschy goods that give you a taste of the paradise of Asia from southern Vietnam. (*The photos also include antiques and reproductions.)
